2026 CANDIDATE FILING DATE: Act 405 has been signed into law. What this means for the 2026 Election Cycle -
Party filing will be November 3, 2025 at 12:00 Noon through November 12, 2025 at 12:00 Noon (please note the 11th is Veterans Day).
2026 Preferential Primary Election Dates
Primary Election Day will be March 3, 2026 and polls will open at 7:30 a.m. and close promptly at 7:30 p.m.
Early Voting will begin on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, normally it would be Monday but that is a Federal Holiday. Early polls will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Early voting will end Monday March 2, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
